I work in an agile cross-functional team consisting of product owner, front-end developers, and software engineers. As a company effort to transition into a SaaS business model, there is a need for a responsive web app – vCloud, which I am responsible for. With guidance from a system design specialist, the product owner and I gather and evaluate user requirements to better understand human behavior as it pertains to IsoMetrix software. We’re converting the solutions template from a configurable platform to one that includes product plans, simplifying the highly complex GRC solutions workflow. I create user personas, conduct user research, identify UX problems, and design user friendly interfaces and prototypes. In collaboration with the developers, I am designing a web app that is responsive, scalable, and accessible.
